Villa Camigliano

Set in the foothills in the village of Camigliano, 8 kilometers east of the walls of Lucca, this large country home overlooks the property's vineyards, olive groves, oak woods, and the mountains of Pisa in the distance. Camigliano produces its own wine and olive oil. Located in the area of the famous Villa Torrigiani and Villa Bruguier, this is part of the antique country property of Lord Paolo Guinigi, ruler of Lucca in the 15th century.

Villa Camigliano is located on the Strada del Vino, a scenic, hilly road winding through many wine and olive oil estates and passing numerous locally owned traditional Tuscan restaurants where you can relax with dinner after your site-seeing trips.

The Villa has easy access to a village grocery store, even on foot, and is convenient for day trips to Lucca (15 minutes), Pisa's Leaning Tower and the ocean-side beaches of Viareggio (40 minutes), or Montecatini, the famous spa town (20 minutes). We are about 45 minutes by car from Florence, or you can drive your car to a nearby train station and from there it is a pleasant hour by train to the Florence station in the center of town, thereby avoiding traffic jams and parking problems. We are about an hour and 15 minutes from Siena.
